Project Objectives

  1. To investigate a reconfigurable digital beamforming core that enables on-the-fly selection of a particular beamforming algorithm depending on tissue.
  2. To investigate the influence of transmit beamforming for imaging specular structures.
  3. To investigate the influence of receive beamforming for imaging specular structures.
  4. To investigate the possibilities of improved operator assistance and associated workflows for imaging of specular structures to ensure their detection.
